Kirk Haaland

I am an engineer for an athletic goods manufacturer by day and have been a contributor to Cyclone Fanatic for the past 1.5 years. The 6 months previous to that I covered Iowa State football and basketball for isportsweb.com with game recaps and opinion pieces. 

I have been patrolling message boards since 2004 as "khaal53" in many locales, most notably Cyclone Report and Cyclone Fanatic. I have long had a strong appreciation for the history of ISU athletics and a passion for the statistical and definitive side of the game. Coupling that with my skills as an engineer and my experience both playing and coaching the game of basketball has proved to be the driving force of my passion for everything that will be hashed out at enCYCLONEpedia
